Design Process
1. Theme
I started by designing a background and footer for my BS Times, inspired by the Husky and snow to reflect February's snowboarding season. I created two options and chose the simpler husky snowboarding design, as it wouldn't distract from the text above.
2. Other Elements
I designed the header with UW Bothell’s purple and gold, complementing the footer's blues and whites. The diagonal stripes, inspired by the husky’s scarf, tie the header and footer together.
3. Text
Finally, I selected the text size, color, and boldness for the title, date, and body, then applied this template to list the events evenly on the poster.
