4. Directional Signs
1. Concept & Inspiration
Once I receive a request detailing the title, date, time, and location of an upcoming career fair, I start thinking of a theme depending on when the fair is taking place. I then find a color scheme that will match the theme.
2. Banners
Then, I start designing the Banners using the theme and color scheme I came up with. I go through multiple iterations and get the client's feedback throughout the design process to ensure they like the final product. These are used on Handshake to promote the fair to students and employers.
3. Flyers
Once we've agreed on the banners, I create an 8.5x11in
and 11x17in flyer for the event. These are hung up around campus. I also created a horizontal graphic that is displayed on the dining hall screen.
Then, I create 24x36in directional signs that are put up on the day of the event.
